Susan has been an active volunteer for years, including participating in events to raise money for various causes, one-on-one reading programs at elementary schools, spearheading food & clothing drives, and raising awareness through internet contacts. With her recent ordination to the office of High Priest, Susan is hoping to dedicate more time to pursuing ministry in areas of peace and justice. She has served as pastor at the Garden Grove congregation and is currently co-pastoring, helps lead Young Peacemaker’s Club, and is actively involved in Greater Vancouver Interfaith Association (GVIA). In the past several years she has served as assistant reunion director, reunion director, and registrar as well as promoting reunion attendance and participation. Susan and her husband, John May, have been married 20+ years, and live in Gresham with Sophie the Schnoodle.
