Young Adult Memorial Day Weekend Retreat in Spokane Valley

Calling all Young Adults!

You are invited to join us for a fun and memorable Young Adult Memorial Day Weekend Retreat in Spokane Valley, Washington! We're going to 'Ignite the Fire' while meeting other young adults for fellowship, food and a fantastic time. Come bask in the glow of some of the most beautiful scenery the Inland Northwest has to offer. The Spokane Valley Community of Christ church will serve as base, starting noon on Saturday May 24th and ending at noon on Monday May 26th.

<-----------Hayden Lake

This is a multi-mission center event and we're hoping to have each state represented from the Inland Northwest and the Greater Pacific Northwest Mission Centers! To help spread the word, please post the attached flyer at your congregation, forward this message and the flyer to young adults and leaders, announce it on Sunday and print it in the bulletin. Help us get all 8 states represented, and maybe even Canada (we think of them as the 51st state anyway)!Weekend plans include water recreation and a barbecue on Hayden Lake, a morning meditative hike in Coeur d'Alene, and games and exploration at the Riverfront Park in Spokane. Also planned is an introductory welcome service Saturday evening, morning yoga for the early risers, a Sunday evening jam session, and a closing morning reflection service open for testimony and music.

Bring your friends, a sleeping bag, instruments, board games, a yoga mat, or other miscellaneous entertainment (such as a frisbee or football to toss around). Kids under 12 are free. Remember, those registered by May 9th will qualify for an early bird drawing! Come prepared to meet new friends and see the beautiful Inland Northwest. See you there! If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us.
